Paediatric First Aid

Introduction 

This is our most popular course for professional child carers including pre-school, nursery, reception year teachers and childminders caring for children under 8 years old.

This course includes FREE Anaphylaxis (auto-injector) Training.

At Bluebox Learning we are big advocates of blended learning. This allows elements of the course to be completed in your own time, using a range of delivery and learning styles. We split this course into two sections:

Section 1 involves completing our interactive e-learning module and this can be done any time prior to attending the face to face training. This eLearning is designed to take 6-hours. 

Section 2 is a one day face to face training course at your chosen venue, where you will learn and demonstrate all the practical skills of the course.

This course is accredited by ‘Bluebox Qualifications Standard’ which supports customers in their due diligence when selecting Bluebox Learning as their first aid training provider. Bluebox Qualifications Standard’ is an independent standards framework and is fully compliant with Health and Safety Guidance (GEIS3), OFSTED and EYFS.

Course Assessment 

The course assessments consists of the following:

1. A multiple choice exam following completion of the e-Learning

2. Instructor observations of practical work and managing medical emergencies. 

3. A final multiple choice exam at the end of the practical day
